UNISA is as it’s name implies, A University of South Africa which has learning centers in all of the major Provinces in South Africa. The largets campus is in Tshane (Pretoria). UNISA is a predominantly distance learning institution and classified as a comprehensive institution which implies that it offers both degree courses as well as diploma courses and courses traditionally offered by Technikons.

UNISA offers numerous bursary opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students through generous donors, which are offered to students on an academic merit basis.
