TUKKIES is a sprawling Campus with centers including the Hatfield Campus and the Academic hospital in Pretoria. The University of Pretoria offers programs in English and Afrikaans.

The UJ campuses are in Auckland Park, Soweto and Doornfontein, all easily accessible from the city and neighboring suburbs. The campuses are all located on the outskirts of Johannesburg.

Residence, “The Student Accommodation & Residence Life division is mainly responsible for the accommodation of more that 5000 students. This is a vast division with 22 residences spread over 3 of the 4 campuses of the University of Johannesburg, namely, Auckland Park Bunting Road Campus (shortened as APB campus), Auckland Park Kingsway Campus (shortened as APK campus) and Doornfontein Campus (shortened as DFC Campus).”

The University of Johannesburg offers a scholarship program described as, “The University of Johannesburg (UJ) and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) established a joint bursary programme in 2007. The programme accommodates full-time Honours/BTech, Master’s and Doctoral students within the faculties of Science, Engineering and Health Sciences at the UJ.”
